His humility adds to the depth of enlightenment and gratitude that a highly completed translation enhances understanding.
It is a book that strongly recommends to all of the South Korean Christian clergy, church members and interested people. I hope it will be a valuable step toward reading quickly and considering the current thinking, belief systems and so forth.
John Polkinghorne: Quark, Chaos, Christianity
The book of John Paul Kinghorn, a physicist and clergyman who has made a huge difference in the field of scientific and religious dialogue. It was translated into German, Japanese, Italian, and Lumani and is considered to be a book that shows its own core. John Polkinghorn, who showed his ability as a scientist to be elected a professor at Cambridge University and a member of the Royal Society of England, became an Anglican priest at a late age and produced many of his own themes. And later, the dialogue between religion and science is taken the lead in opening and expanding new fields of Christian theology. In this book he presents a series of topics about science, religion, science and theology, and how the myth of science and religion went wrong, how science and religions could communicate in some way, and what new discoveries of modern science can help us to understand the main themes of Christianity, such as creation, miracles, and the end. According to him, religion and science are not hostile areas but intelligent cousins who go out into the truth side by side. And insights found in each area can help to awaken new knowledge to one another as well as to ourselves. Paul Kinghorn, who can use both scientific and theological languages, has more than two reasons to present his claim. Polkinghorn shows that rational scientists can also have faith, and furthermore, that Christian faith can enrich the way of science and contribute to the way it works.
