Jo Yeon-soon et al.: Creativity education

With the advent of information society in the early 2000s, the spread of the Internet and the development of information communications technology have also brought many changes to the educational landscapes of our country. The educational world has stressed creativity and innovation with the key skills that 21st century students should have, and it has been a long time since the emphasis on creative thinking was brought to the fore as an important part of education. Since the 1950s, the concept of creativity has developed more and more in scope, and recently, with the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, creativity has been again highlighted as the key factor required in many fields of economic, social and cultural destruction. But creative education has been faced with a variety of criticisms and misunderstandings: the spread of wealth and poverty, corruption and war, global warming and ecological destruction, which are critical of the limitations of creativity education that is concerned about cognitive development, and the second misconception is that it has interfered with and competed with equal education, while it is achieved only for a few special students. So this time, the Ministry of Education and Reconciliation stressed the concept of the creativity of a complex concept that reflects not only intellectual but also a sense of justice and environment, namely, human and culture, and pursuing moral goals, which eventually lead to a better life for mankind. It was also focused on helping students to develop a ‘credulative problem solving ’ for complex real-life problems, through regular curriculum and integrated creative education, not teaching, but being separated from one another.
