"Technologies Countering Cyber Forensics: Anti-Forensics" consists of a total of seven chapters. SECTION 1 introduces the definitions and types of cyber forensics and anti-forensics. It describes the academic definition and types of the unfamiliar term "cyber forensics" and explains its various application fields. Particular emphasis was placed on examining the definition and purpose of anti-forensics. SECTION 2 covers data destruction, a common example of anti-forensics. Data destruction can be divided into software and hardware techniques and is the most widely known anti-forensic method for safely deleting confidential information and removing evidence that could work against oneself at cybercrime scenes. SECTION 3 explains data concealment techniques. SECTION 4 explains techniques to block the generation of evidence. SECTION 5 covers data alteration techniques. SECTION 6 explains steganography, often referred to as the pinnacle of anti-forensic techniques. SECTION 7 covers application techniques of data concealment.
