Description

This is a guidebook that takes a systematic look at the Czech Republic, a gem of Eastern Europe. Prague is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful cities and can make you feel as though time has stopped. Historic sites throughout the city preserve traces of the Middle Ages, including Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings, making you forget the passage of time. A country of culture and art, Prague was the setting for dramatic events across a thousand years of history and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy its culture and encounter many notable figures. The city produced Dvořák and Kafka, and Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni, considered one of his greatest, is performed regularly. The Czech people may seem reserved but are warm. They can appear blunt and indifferent, but once you know them, you find people who appreciate the little things. Czechs enjoy beer so much that their per-capita consumption ranks first, yet they are not big drinkers. They are highly educated and often learn an instrument from a young age. Perhaps that is why the Czech Republic has so many famous musicians.

The Czech Republic is called the jewel of Eastern Europe, with a rich history and culture and beautiful architecture. Its capital, Prague, is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The city seems frozen in time, with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings blending together and traces of the Middle Ages still intact. Prague has a thousand years of history and is a UNESCO World Heritage city. It has a vibrant cultural and artistic scene and produced figures such as Dvořák and

I bought this while deciding whether to visit the Czech Republic, and it includes up-to-date information that has been a big help in planning my itinerary. The sections on society and culture are surprisingly good, too, so I think I’ll be able to enjoy the country more deeply after reading this book. I hope the series continues with more regions and countries that other travel books don’t cover as often.

I read this to learn what I should know before traveling to Eastern Europe. The photos and variety of information make it easy to understand. I’m still deciding between a package tour and traveling independently, but after reading the book, I’d love to visit Prague on my own, enjoy good food, and shop. It also introduces a range of smaller cities, and visiting them would make for a wonderful trip.

The Czech Republic is a fascinating country in Central Europe, where beautifully preserved medieval architecture meets world-famous modern art and cultural heritage. One of its greatest charms is the feeling of traveling through time, with medieval buildings and modern art side by side. In Prague, the literature of Franz Kafka and the architecture of Frank Gehry meet 14th-century churches and narrow cobblestone lanes. With train and air connections to most European cities, Prague is a great

Today I’m reviewing Hashtag Czech, a guide to a destination many people choose when planning a European trip. I visited Prague briefly six or seven years ago, but my child was young, so I regret that we could not walk around and see more. I was delighted to meet the Czech Republic again through this book! Located in Central Europe, the country is easy to reach from elsewhere because Prague is connected to most European cities by train and plane. The Czech Republic is appealing because its

I had planned to visit Eastern Europe after touring Western Europe, but then the pandemic hit, and I never made it. A friend who went told me how wonderful the trip was and especially recommended Prague in the Czech Republic and Granada in Spain as unforgettable destinations. Since exchange rates have risen so much after the pandemic, destinations like Hawaii and Western Europe can be expensive for a honeymoon or family trip. If you want relatively good value along with scenery and culture very

The Czech Republic, a gem of Eastern Europe, is a country I first learned about through the drama Lovers in Prague, which inspired me to visit on a backpacking trip. Prague was as beautiful as it had seemed in the show, and I promised myself I would return someday, though I never set a date. This time, I hope to wander through the city, if only through a book. Hashtag Czech: Eastern Europe lies in the heart of the continent, and the Czech Republic is one of the region’s most beloved

The Czech Republic is a country you shouldn’t miss on a trip! Its delicious food and charming scenery bring storybook villages to mind. Orange rooftops and intricate carvings appear throughout the cities and amaze me every time I see them. Why not walk along the pretty streets, find the lovely treasures hidden around town, and make your own map?
