The explanations are detailed, so I understand well both during the lecture and when reading on my own. Now I see why it's so popular.
I haven't watched the online lectures yet, so I don't know, but I bought it because people say it's the most popular. I'll study hard with this!
The paper quality, layout, typeface, letter spacing, and other details feel awkward and disappointing, but the content seems fine. I'd like to suggest replacing the publisher's editorial team...
It's good. The material is difficult, but it's easy to understand, and the lectures helped a lot.
For a standard financial-management textbook, it's quite thin. It feels much more condensed than other standard texts. On the other hand, it's organized into basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, and the author's lectures follow the same sequence, which works quite well. Since financial management has difficult, interconnected concepts, the difficulty can overwhelm you and make you give up partway through. Learning in order of difficulty helps you keep going without quitting.
It's a new book, so what is this—are those pen marks? I thought it was used... If it was a returned book, it should have been inspected carefully. Ugh.
I chose this as a financial-management theory study book for exam preparation, and I like that the concepts are separated by difficulty level!
