Jeong Woo-tak: Global Citizenship Education and SDGs

A second lead in the World Civil Education and SDGs series, which is organized in the global forum, reveals how Dr. Juntak, director of the International Educational Council of Asia Minor, has been able to put global citizen education into the UN sustainability goals of Korea. The book gives a detailed account of the historical flow and background of people in Korea who wonder why world civil education and global citizenship are rapidly rising and spreading. After UN Secretary-President Ban Ki-joong said that “the need for the growth of the world’s citizens” in September 2012, a three - year project was launched to make global education a global agenda of the UN, centered in the government and Ata Education Department. The first conference on global citizen education was held at the Seoul Ata Educational Council in September 2013, and in May of '54, after a party of arrogant Muskart, the UNESCO Declaration included the World Civil Education Assembly in the Unesco Declaration, and finally, as our country claimed, world education was taken into the International. Four months later, global civil education was successfully blocked by the development goals of the UN's 70th General Assembly. In the process, Korean education apathy and Japanese checks have encountered numerous opposition and difficulties.
