Jeong Ji-woong et al.: Research on Inter-Korean Social Integration Measures

On April 27, 2018, the first time the top leader of North Korea stepped on the south side of the land was held, the First North and South Summit. The two summits took their hands and crossed the military line, and within a month there was a hopeful movement to end the 70-year-olds meeting. However, it is predictable that after the long division of unity and social conflict after unity will inevitably occur. Unification that cannot relieve social stigma in itself is not only incomplete, but also requires a double effort to alleviate the social pain of the aftermath of unity. In the worst case, it was a unified externality, but it could be an internal boost of conflict. Thus, the union of the north and south means that a wide range of social conflicts, such as regional conflicts, ideological conflicts, and discrimination from the rich and poor in the North and South, are overcome by active efforts of the nation or society. There is a purpose of civil social integration in the north and the south to disband the hostile or confrontational divisions caused by division and to form a full integration. The book wanted to look at the integration theory of Korean thought and the major integration theory, the Western main theory, and find a unified and northern solution from its own traditional ideas and theories that do not fully rely on the advantages of the gains and benefits of the past, while making an example of them.
