Jeong Hee-young: Christian Early Childhood Education Theory

Since the characteristics of society and education are closely intertwined, it is a very natural phenomenon for the direction of education to shift in accordance with societal changes. Consequently, national-level curricula have also been revised in response to these changes. Following this trend of change, I felt the need to supplement this book somewhat. I left the sections on the biblical foundation—considered absolute truth—untouched, and I also did not feel the need to revise the philosophical foundations. However, as social characteristics have changed, I revised and supplemented the sections on the social foundations. Furthermore, regarding the tasks for Christian early childhood education, I supplemented the content by referencing teacher retraining and spiritual education programs that have been researched in this area.
