Jean Ziegler: Talking about the UN
Why are half the world hungry? The author of the book, Jean Zigler, told us about the U.N., which we did not know. The authors who have spent their entire lives in the United Nations, including the head of the UN's Food and Human Rights Council, the roots and development of the United States, the way it operates and its role, the logic of the forces that consume it, the internal violence, the monitoring and the colonial operations of the US, are a vivid representation of the kinds of cancer and the loss of American surveillance and peacocks we know not. The first chapter mentions the savage world order of today as represented by the Vulgate and speaks of the 2030 agenda set in '24 to bring it right. Two stories tell the story of a leader who resisted as a practical intellectual, and three and four chapters review the steps that have developed in the principles behind the UN. Chapters 6 and 7 discuss more specifically how the United Nations Army is maintaining peace in its own context. Chapter 8 explains why the League of Nations, the root of the United Nations, failed and tells the difference between the League and the United States, and chapter 9 tells us about the Duke of the US and Israel around its author. His experiences in life have been vividly portrayed in close association with the UN's reputation. The author says that it takes solidarity and pressure from the international civil society to restore the UN through these stories, and stresses that we must constantly resist and unite to overcome the crisis.
