Im Seok-jae: History of Parisian Urban Architecture
Why are so many people in Paris today? How can we define and explain the subtle charms of a city called Paris? This book is the crystallized edition of a Paris city architect who answers these questions that any curious and adventured person has ever wondered about. Paris, which began in the first century B.C.E. and took over 1700 years to be the capital of France and Europe, which has developed through the time of the Middle Ages and the Classics, and has broken the framework of the independent state. The book lists the construction of the Classical Golden Age, which blooms in these traditional Paris days, within its larger framework, and examines the history of interesting and subtle spaces reflected in it. By the way, the birth and growth of cities in the process, the structure of cities, the building of each era, and so on, we're going to be changing through the change of many dynastys and kings from Caesar's birth to Louis XVl (1715 B.C.). The overall character of the book, which consists of four sections and 26 chapters, is that it combines the three topics: Paris, urban architecture, and history, not each one of them, but the two layers of seed and the other. First, part 1 ‘What kind of city is Paris,’ which begins with its general introduction to the city of Paris, which includes its cultural significance, why it is loved, its character and strength, and the structure of the modern Paris city.
