I like the clear, concise explanations without any unnecessary padding. The basic knowledge is well organized, so it is excellent for beginners.
I am buying this because I want to learn how AI can help with design work now.
I bought the book because I have always been interested in design using generative AI. I liked that the method of using Midjourney is made concrete, so you can use it efficiently. I also like that it presents many different ways to use it.
I bought it to study design with Midjourney, haha. I hope that by the time I finish studying this book, I will be someone who can whip up designs in no time..!
Lately I have been studying ChatGPT and Midjourney as hard as I study writing. No one can accurately predict how AI technology will develop and be used, but one thing is certain: its range of use will continue to grow. People like convenience, and AI is an excellent tool that satisfies that human desire, so it is an unstoppable wave. Of course, there are many problems. Unauthorized copying, plagiarism, and unethical creations are among the many things that still need improvement, but I think
As the use of AI gradually increases in various fields, I wanted to learn properly how to use AI image-generation tools. The tool I was most interested in was Midjourney. I did not really know prompts or parameters, so I had only signed up for Discord and stopped there. The book's contents are arranged so you can learn step by step, from joining Discord to the concepts of prompts and parameters and using them in various designs, so I think it will be very helpful. It is easy and friendly even
As many branding elements are rapidly consumed and turned into content these days, it seems that existing branding methods are quickly disappearing. This leads us to use more applications and need more ways to make our work stand out. For someone like me, who had worked only with Illustrator and InDesign, this lowered the psychological barrier to 3D. Thanks to it, I can quickly and easily try many things, such as logo texture variations and characters.
Having read a Midjourney book, I think it opened a new world for me. I work in design, and my everyday routine had been working only with Photoshop and Illustrator and designing by referring to existing references. Above all, I think the greatest advantage and strength of Midjourney is that it lets you freely create custom-like designs that can express a three-dimensional feel well. If you want to go beyond common designs and make original designs of your own, I think this is a good book to
As I read this book, I signed up for Midjourney and made all sorts of things while following along. When generating images, you use / and then commands~ I could learn to understand the different parameters just by reading and following the book, and it was so much fun that I lost track of time... It was amazing at my age. While reading, I wondered whether making things like this was really possible, but it was so much fun. ^^ I showed off the things I made to my grown son and daughter, and
There are definitely many example images that differ from the AI image styles I used to see. Only the important prompts are marked in red, which makes them easy to understand. It does not simply tell you the prompt; it lets you compare each image that changes according to the prompt. It specializes in design, but is worth reading even if you did not major in design. I recommend it.
Im Jang-han: How to Perfectly Utilize Midjourney for Design
This book does not simply list Midjourney's features. It guides you patiently and kindly so you can create wonderful project results with Midjourney. If you practice along with the book, before you know it you will be able to make your own high-quality images and gain a variety of creative ideas. If you are interested in design or work as a designer, be sure to read this book!
