Open-up, November 11, 2023 summer. The 11th is a special "Greater than a Fabulous Ampair.". This issue, which begins with the subject of “Estology”, focuses on the Sea. The recent rage and fear surrounding the contaminated waters of Fukushima has been on our feet since much longer than that, and is being lit up by this special gathering. Although the oceans are also the source of life on earth over three billion years ago, they are still functioning as a living water that makes life possible on earth. In the midst of problems with land and atmosphere warming, the oceans are dying more slowly and on a much deeper scale, but in proportion to that, they are warming up catastrophic explosive power. As we listen to the warnings heard in the ocean, we are painfully aware that the earth is connected to and dependent on things, just as all things in the universe are. The Gwandle Mavey 11 asks what we will choose of humans in the present position, at the crossroads of the sustainability and geography of human civilization.
