Hitoshi Tanaka et al.: 21st Century East Asia and Historical Issues
The book was based on a series of lectures that were part of an effort to create a sense of history in the East Asian community. East Asia, as it is called, is not a concept of collaboration around three countries per country, but a concept that includes Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The course is going to be in the next two videos. In '20, Japan, a university of Osaka, and its director, although many Japanese scholars, includes not only Korean and Chinese scholars but also Taiwan and Singaporean. East Asia in the 21st century, to move forward to a community seeking collaboration and life, took a lot of effort, but it started out in a face-to-face view of what is becoming a real challenge to history. It is a book that has been tested to help university students, who will be the main actors of East Asia in the 21st century, not see history as a narrow view inside their own framework, but as an open field of thought and conversation that can be seen across borders. The history epic of East Asia is not necessarily shared by everyone. "I cannot agree, but I can understand" needs tolerance and acceptance.
