Hermenegilt Walter: The cross triumphs

In June of '21, a German priest left his homeland with a missionary cross. After four weeks of sailing, he stepped on South Korea and was Father Theodore Brecher. Soon he was sent to Northern China, where the mission was desperate. The vast land was a war zone of Communism, socialism and imperialism, which soon followed the first world war and then the chaos of World War II. Who would have thought that his missionary period, originally passed for 30 years. The book contains the history of the Yeong-gil parish, which was the barren site of the Gospel, and the struggle of a missionary who sowed the seed of the gospel there.
