Heo Won-wook: Middle Korean Syntax (15th-16th century)

“Syntax of Middle Korean (15th-16th Century)” is a syntactic study of Middle Korean. It broadly divides sentences into simple and compound sentences, and in simple sentences, it examines the structure and function of each sentence component within the sentence. Compound sentences are divided into joined compound sentences and embedded compound sentences. In joined compound sentences, it examines the syntactic constraints between the preceding and succeeding clauses, and in embedded compound sentences, it examines the syntactic relationship and constraints between the embedded clause and the embedded clause containing it, aiming to clarify the syntactic structure of Middle Korean compound sentences.
