A book that helps you understand how to do branding.
It is very easy to read, without being shallow; the ideas are explained clearly and are easy to understand.
It reads smoothly. The ideas may be obvious, but it feels like visiting the mind of someone who is good at branding. It helped me feel more confident about branding, and I agree with the author's point about sincerity.
I think it will be very helpful in practical work.
I was drawn in by a note saying Professor Hong Seong-tae recommended it, and bought it because the content looked so good. I like the concrete examples and clear message.
The examples made everything easier to understand. The author is impressive!

I really love both Knotted and Downtowner Burger, and this book made me like those brands even more! I had no idea how to get started with branding, but the book gave me a sense of direction. Such a great book—thank you!
Heo Jun: I am a brander.
This book presents branding principles from a CMO who spent more than ten years building brands, including Knotted, Downtowner, and Glow Seoul. It shares the success know-how behind increasing annual sales twentyfold in four years: why Knotted chose doughnuts among countless desserts, the real role of merchandise at a café where coffee must taste good, what the word 'hip' conceals, how trends are made, and how to tell whether marketing worked. Professor Hong Seong-tae called the author's insights, gained through trial and error, 'a book that gives marketers the courage to solve the problems they face every day.'
