Description

This book is the result of a reassembled and re-associated exhibition (. animal-sex loop, joint planning, pecbona, impromptu, chami-suk, Hae-soon) designed in November of 2019. The author asks from past writings how images can be made today. When we face current events that are no longer live, and are already destroyed, and have no direct experience with their own bodies, and only record of their own history, we think about the possibility of recording and visualizing the image in case of existing experience. Here the conceptual understanding of reality, existence, and related death and afterlife is resuscitated by the word ‘ animality. ’. At this point, in performance discourse, we refer to the discussion of the writing. And then again, the question of the relationship between performance and documentary was put through the exhibit animal loop. Stories are not limited to performances, they are not vivid, they have been heated and considered ineffective, and the past images follow the process of checking their own personal image through current reading. So the book speaks of the living and living existence of the present, which is intuitively presented by the word ‘ animality, ’ and illuminates the record and traces left over by ‘simplification.’.
