Description

NEW Japanese Essential Kanji Basic Master 1026, Large-Print Edition. Kanji are essential both for conversation and for exams. This textbook is for Japanese learners who want to master kanji from the basics. It includes the 1,026 elementary-school education kanji designated by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, among the commonly used kanji (Grade 1: 80; Grade 2: 160; Grade 3: 200; Grade 4: 202; Grade 5: 193; Grade 6: 191). The contents are bound as two volumes, Grades 1–3 and Grades 4–6, for comfortable study in the large format. An 11-week study plan is included. For all 1,026 kanji, it gives meanings, total stroke counts, standard forms, on-readings, kun-readings, JLPT level, and stroke order. Words and example sentences for the readings are chosen, where possible, from common everyday usage. Practice questions prepare learners for kanji sections of exams such as the JLPT and JPT. Answer and translation PDFs for the exercises are available on the Darakwon website. Review quizzes are also available there as PDFs, along with audio MP3s of words and example sentences recorded by native speakers.

I received this book through the Darakwon supporters program. I chose the large-print edition of New Japanese Essential Kanji Basic Master 1026 because I wanted to start studying Japanese kanji in earnest. It introduces kanji gradually from the beginning, so it felt easy to start. The large type makes even characters with many strokes easy to see at a glance and is less tiring to look at for a long time. Each character includes both on- and kun-readings, along with frequently used words and

#Sponsored. I realized I needed to study kanji while learning Japanese, so I picked up this book. I got the large-print edition because I wanted to see the characters clearly. It is enormous—compare it with a notebook to get a sense of the size, haha! The two books, for lower and upper elementary grades, are combined, so you can take just the section you want to study when you go out. Each page shows the Japanese form of the kanji, its Korean readings and meanings below, and Japanese readings

NEW Japanese Essential Kanji Basic Master 1026 Large-Print Edition is a special A4-size edition of the original, with easy-to-read large characters, combining the Grades 1–3 and Grades 4–6 volumes. Japanese common-use kanji are characters recommended for everyday use and taught to Japanese elementary students; learning them helps with the JLPT and overall Japanese ability. Advantages: 1. Study Japanese kanji thoroughly. 2. The large format lets you see and learn each character at a glance. 3.

I chose this book to study commonly used Japanese kanji: Darakwon's Basic Master 126 in large print. A regular-size edition is also available, but I chose the large-print one so the stroke order would be easier to see, not because I have age-related vision problems. Since it is larger than a standard book, it may be a little hard to carry around. However, it can be split into sections, so you can take it with you if your bag is big enough. It covers the kanji taught in Japanese elementary

I'm aiming for JLPT Level 3 at the end of this year, and chose this book because I thought it would be good to know some Japanese kanji before I began serious studying. Japanese Essential Kanji Basic Master 1026 covers JLPT levels and is printed in large type, which makes it easier to read. The kanji are organized systematically and by difficulty according to what Japanese students learn in Grades 1 through 6. Grades 1 and 2 were relatively easy, though it was a little tricky to memorize the

As literacy has become a hot topic here, the need to study Chinese characters has gained attention and many children are learning them. Kanji are harder than I expected. About half of Japanese writing uses kanji, so it is hard to understand Japanese properly without them. I have also heard that
