Han Sang-eon et al.: Pyongyang Bookstore on Stalin Street
A follow-up of the book, Jingpy Bong, which introduced the book of book writers and artists since the liberation of 2018, was a book that noted translations published in North Korea earlier in the 1960s. The book presents translations published in North Korea, which are held by the Institute of Pictures of the American Films and Movies, in poems, novels, plays, reviews, worksbooks, lessons, children, art, theaters and films. For us, these rather unfamiliar North Korean translations are a cultural acceptance and social discipline of North Korean society in the 1950s and 60s, and we can see the flow of world literature. The literature and release of this data will also help us to take a closer look at the nature of North Korean translation literature and North Korean translators that were difficult to understand.
