Fuller Watson: New Curator

Another experimental curation, a design exhibition, in general, is opened in the way of presenting the finished work of designers or re-replicating architecture in models and photographs. In this book, Fruff Watson leaves this traditional display mode and presents six different movements necessary to display architecture and design. These six movements point to the actions of the curators as spacemakers, translators, dogparts, personal agents, actors, and dramatators. The author discusses the ‘actionalcutting ’ that provides an experimental access to architecture and design ideas, where the curator’s role is not to be a ‘master’ or an ‘ expert ’ but to be an exhibiter of the audience. The book, which explores the New Culator primarily by exploring the 24 displays that have revealed this process, puts architecture and design curing into its own practice as an expanded creative act. The eight curetial conversations between these six movements, while proving each move more clearly, lead to digging into the points that the curator at the scene is concerned about. The 16 exhibit producers in the dialogue share the main topics of the country, institution, region and ethnic context each stands up and reveal the reality of the curator. And their words, which form the curator's synesthesia and solidarity, can also be both comforting and inspirational.
