My Japanese vocabulary was very limited, but this book has been a great help.
It’s comprehensive and thorough. It explains the words in detail and includes related vocabulary and quizzes, which seem like a good way to check whether I’ve memorized them. I highly recommend it to anyone just starting to learn Japanese!
My daughter asked me to order it, so I did.
I ordered it because I’m studying Japanese again and wanted to review vocabulary I’d forgotten. It’s excellent, just as I expected, and it includes an MP3 recording of only the vocabulary, so I can listen and study whenever I want. I love it!

I recommend that anyone studying Japanese buy the whole Mujakjeong series! After studying Japanese consistently for a while, I think you could probably get by with just the commonly used kanji book. Thanks to the Just Follow Along series, kanji has become much easier for me. I think studying it alongside a commonly used kanji textbook would be a big help.
