Eugene O'Neill, who won the second Pulitzer Prize in "Ana Christie". The war between Chris, the captain who lived his life at sea and Anna Christy, Chris's daughter who came to the sea, disillusioned with life on land. The conflict between Chris and Anna is then shared in other works in O'Neil with the theme of the sea and land, dreams and reality, the conflict and conflict of destiny and free will. Thus, based on his experience as a sailor, O’Neiln has developed a unique genre called the Sea Drama, which is based on a series of ocean-based works. Later, the work was featured in films, and at the time that silent movies were replaced by sex movies, Greta Garbo played Anna's role, presenting voice smoke to the first public, making it a topic for the film.
