The book is looking forward to the future of capitalism, a system that has been running with five sociologists of world fame, including IMD, for 500 years. The future of capitalism they see is usually a grim but permanent system, and they want to predict futures that will live on beyond the crisis of the capitalist world economy, where it's seen as a crisis, and then to determine the cause and cause.
