Description

My Hiragana and Katakana Writing Notebook is a study book that helps beginners learning Japanese naturally learn the hiragana and katakana characters by writing them themselves. Its goal is to teach the correct pronunciation and stroke order so learners can read and write the characters fluently. Tips also explain the correct stroke-by-stroke writing method to make the characters easier to write. Learners can study a variety of Japanese words related to each character and practice writing them, then review what they have learned and check their progress with exercises. An additional writing-practice PDF lets learners write more Japanese words and sentences and fully master the characters. The book includes MP3 audio files and the extra writing-practice PDF, which can be downloaded from the Darakwon website (www.darakwon.co.kr) or through the QR code on the cover.

I recommend this for anyone encountering Japanese characters for the first time. It explains the order for writing the characters in detail.

Hiragana and katakana are easy to learn. The book shows the stroke order, which is great. As you learn kana, you can immediately practice reading Japanese words.

This is an honest review of a product provided by Darakwon. I’m a complete beginner who has only just started learning Japanese, and I study a little each day with My Hiragana and Katakana Writing Notebook. First, I listen to audio by a Japanese voice actor to learn the accurate pronunciation of the characters, then practice using the writing charts. I like that the stroke order for each hiragana character is shown, so I can practice correctly. The book also includes words containing each

I’m not studying Japanese for the first time, and I do know hiragana and katakana, but I can’t say I know them perfectly. When I first studied Japanese, I memorized hiragana to some extent, but there were many similar-looking katakana characters and I couldn’t remember them well. I studied several introductory Japanese books while knowing how to read and write only hiragana. I thought I’d memorize katakana just by seeing it over and over, but that wasn’t how it worked. I should have learned it

The friendly interior design, cute illustrations, detailed guidance on how to write each character, and included listening MP3 make this a book there’s no reason not to buy! If you’ve started learning Japanese but, like me, worry that your handwriting is all over the place, or you’re still unsure how to write the characters, I recommend it.

When I think about it, I bought this book and that book when I started studying Japanese, but what I really struggled with was memorizing hiragana! I wondered if Japanese, which everyone says is easy, was somehow difficult only for me. You need to be able to read hiragana before you can read a beginner textbook or conversation book, but on a blank page the characters just looked like pictures—I was completely illiterate! Just as there are alphabet writing notebooks, I liked the idea of a
