Communications and Radio Research Office, Communications Policy Group: Assessment of Competition in the Telecommunications Market (2016)
The recent paradigm in the communications market has been perceived as a more important policy of fair competitive environmental development in the telecom market, depending on the rapid change in environment, such as the change to the center of data. As a result, the importance of evaluations of the communications markets for identification and regulation of the industry and for the type of regulations and the type and intensity required is increasing. The competitive evaluation is the process of selecting the service that is evaluated, planning the relevant market, and then measuring the main points to produce the results of the competition rating. In '50, the evaluation services were chosen for the telephone, mobile, super-high-speed Internet, private and international telephone services, and the relevant markets. Marketing has resulted in the oilline telephone market being set up as a domestic phone market containing calls from downtown or outside the Internet, which has also arranged 2G/3 G/Late for the same market, including voice/text/data services. The high-speed Internet has been set up as a common market regardless of the technology and speed of the presentation, and the private line is reserved for the domestic and international private sector markets, including private lines outside the city or city. Next, to evaluate the competition between the selected unit market, we have to evaluate market structure, the user response, business behavior, market and location. As a result, the domestic telephone market was rated less competitive because of the number one business, the share of the store, the market structure and the behavior of the business people, and it was decided that KT had market control in the downtown telephone market. In the case of the mobile market, the percentage of market share and market structure and business behavior has been evaluated as inadequate and the SK Telecom has been considered to have a market power.
