Claudio Magris: Small universes

A masterpiece [Dahneb] (1986]), second to the Italian author Claudio Magres. In the small universes of Margoris, who explored the geography, culture and history of the Danube River basin, microscopes were placed in the surrounding borders of Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia, centered around Trieste Bay and Turin, where he was born and raised. Country and nation and border to the border, to the caviar, the parks, the lakes, the winds, the islands, the valleys, the villages and peoples, the grass and flowers and trees, the birds and bears and fish, are the main characters in the history of living in this world. This is a small but marvelous and rich world. Each seemingly insignificant life is a light of extraordinary and significant existence.
