The state of the world, and its future, cannot refuse to live a sympathically with the environment and is willing to share it with the people of the planet. So, the value of living in our homes that we want to share is a healthy and happy community life, with sustainability, with close neighbors and with consideration for the other side. The book, aimed at this value sharing, formed a table of contents that covers all the academic ranges of the basics of residential science, and was made up of three main parts, each chapter faithfully containing the basic theory and covering current issues and future directions. Part 1 wanted to include the subject of home society and culture, which surrounds the home environment. The meaning and concept of the family life, the various housing cultures, the housing of South Korea and Western countries and the environmental psychology of the residential environment. Part 2 is about ‘home and Technology’, which minimizes the impact of human housing on the environment and also points to the health and comfort of the inhabitants and the sustainability of healthy living conditions. For this purpose, human engineering and Universal Design, housing and materials for the physical environment of homes, living conditions, home facilities, smart home maintenance and green modeling are made up of human engineering, Uniform design, and the environment. Part 3 is about planning and managing housing, which deals with the actual planning and design and management of the housing environment based on theories discussed in Part 1 and Part 2. The goal is to create a home-resident environment that will give priority to family needs and health, which will reflect social and community life and which will be environmentally balanced for development.
