🍵 Compared with the previous edition, two areas changed significantly: perspective drawing is much more detailed, and building the cabin is more convenient. I haven’t tried every part, but I’m sure it is very useful for people studying these two professional programs. Without a doubt, the best in this field!
This book carefully explains SketchUp and Enscape, widely used in architecture and interior design. The practical exercises are based on real work and can be applied directly to design, a major advantage.
This was fully revised in 2024 by Easyspublishing. The author has founded an architectural CG company, taught at universities, and run online and in-person classes. I was most surprised to learn they run the Jjuham YouTube channel, which I often watched for assignment tips. Eight practical examples teach architecture and interior rendering in two parts, from SketchUp and Enscape basics to application and advanced practice. A study plan and useful websites support self-study. Difficult
I finally had a chance to learn SketchUp, so I read Easyspublishing’s fully revised Do it! SketchUp with Enscape. The author heads an architectural CG company, teaches online and in person, and has published ebooks and print books. Eight practical examples teach architecture and interior rendering in two parts: basic SketchUp modeling and Enscape rendering, then hands-on interior and exterior perspectives and concept design. Detailed ‘Try It Yourself!’ instructions, pictures, answers to common
The title says it all! The book is easy for beginners to follow. Rendering a virtual cabin teaches SketchUp and Enscape basics, and I especially liked the sections on artificial lighting, material mapping, and light control. It details rendering SketchUp models in Enscape and covers concept designs such as isometric views, massing diagrams, and sectional perspectives. The most striking section uses ChatGPT and Crea AI for modeling and rendering. It was fascinating to learn how to apply popular
I recommend this to anyone who wants a print book to keep and study regularly. It’s useful to study the resource files and author’s blog alongside it. I recommend it again and again!
I’m learning landscape design, and this covers skills essential for three-dimensional design. The material is organized to make it very easy to get started.
Choi Ju-young: Do it! SketchUp with Enscape
The only Enscape introduction loved by architecture and interior professionals is back in a fully revised 2024 edition. Do it! Readers learn basic functions by rendering a virtual cabin, then create interior and exterior perspectives from real architecture-company projects. They also make presentation concepts such as isometric views, massing diagrams, and sectional perspectives. The book teaches essential techniques including artificial lighting, material mapping, light and field-of-view adjustment. Following it can take a beginner to intermediate level.
