Choi Jeong-hwa: Questioning secularism
It provides a religious research course, beyond the split of religion and secular law, in which secularism is developed and how it is handled. In particular, secular studies in the field of neighboring sciences, such as anthropologists, politics, combine and analyze religious views and explore the effects and role of secularism in modern society. The content is based on a symposium of the Korean Institute for Religious and Cultural Research, which contains a wide range of views from 10 authors to the author. By approaching the theoretical aspects of religion and secularism, by developing the national development of Korean religion and worldlyism, and by making a connection between secularism and modern society, we provide various academic researchers as well as religious researchers with insight into how secularism works in various social, cultural and political contexts.
