There will be constant exploitation of resources for human development and prosperity, and ocean development will continue to increase for the depletion of land resources and new resource development. So far, a lot of ocean structures have been built mainly to collect oil and gas from the oceans. The ocean-steal oil/gass from the ocean or the surrounding platforms, FMSO, TLP, and so on, are being used by undersea pipelines to transmit oil/gloss from water to the ocean-altartic structures. And when water is pumped into marine oil fields, the undersea pipelines are used and their uses are very extensive. The oceans are increasing, and undersea pipelines have been being installed in rivers and streams to transport oil, gas and water to the country, and domestic companies have been working on the undersea pipe project decades ago. But there is a very low shortage of books and textbooks involved. In this setting, we have written a comprehensive textbook on understanding the undersea pipelines, the installation, the repair and maintenance of them, and we have introduced basic principles for design not only through the understanding of the basic undersea pipes, but through this source, and have tried to make simple designs possible, not just as experts in this field.
