Description
The term "Seoul Jinogi-gut" is a combination of the regional name "Seoul" and "Jinogi-gut," a ritual performed to guide the souls of the deceased to the afterlife. In Hwanghae-do, the ritual for guiding the souls of the deceased is called "Jinogwi" or "Jinogwi-gut." In Pyeongan-do, it is called "Dari-gut," and in Hamgyeong-do, it is called "Mangmukgut." This book presents the results of research on Seoul Jinogi-gut.
