The lead singer Brett Anderson of Swayd has long been pondering the background of the band. Anderson's family was working class, and his father was a cab driver. The depressing words of the Swayd music were influenced by Wagner, Berlios, and Elga, and these classical musics are not related to my father, who was a worshiper of Franz List. Many rock stars have memoirs that are based on sex and drug stories or they make their excuses. In this book, Bret Anderson does not do that. Instead, he explains why he thought he had acted like that or why he felt that way and says something about the movements of his mind. In short, it's very insightful. And it successfully paints a soul that is shaken between the holes of life, as was the case with Band Smith's lyrics. This book ends with the band signing a record contract. So there's no such thing as conflict with the guitarist Bernard Butler.
