Baek Hwan-jo et al.: Geological Engineering
Geoengineering is a field of engineering and analyzing the geological processes and phenomena of rocks and soil to understand the land-based nature of resource development and engineering. So it includes the skills of understanding the basic knowledge of geology and at the same time taking engineering concepts and analyzing them with a sense of emotion and quantity. Geoengineering is at the target point where it's the most different from other fields of engineering. In other words, the materials that are used in general engineering are synthetically made materials (e. g. steel, cement, metal, ceramics, plastics, etc.), and the materials called lipbans (including rocks, earth, and underground water) which become targets of lipids.
