I liked that the Useful Expressions let you quickly swap in different words. I also liked that the IH and AL answers are presented separately, so you can mix and combine them as needed.
Ashley: Sparta OPIc IH-AL Strategy
Sparta OPIc IH–AL Strategy is a guide designed to help learners reach a high OPIc score in a short time. It is organized to help learners efficiently prepare for the OPIc exam, whether they are aiming for IH, a level commonly required for corporate promotion or applications, or AL, the highest rating. For each topic, the book provides model answers aimed at both IH and AL for the three-combo questions. The IH answers use an appropriate amount of speech and vocabulary, while the AL answers add fluency and more speaking practice to prepare learners for even difficult questions. Learners can choose answers for either IH or AL, or study both levels to reach their target sooner. The Useful Expressions provided for core and optional topics offer a basic framework for developing a logical answer to each question, which learners can adapt into their own responses. For unexpected topics and role-play, extra ideas for expanding an answer help learners come up with a range of responses. After studying the model answers, learners can take one full-length practice OPIc exam to build test-day confidence and make a final assessment before the real exam. Three additional full-length OPIc practice tests are available online. Intended readers: learners preparing for the OPIc exam. Contents: core and optional topics, unexpected topics, and role-play. Features: a high-score strategy guide for OPIc; model answers tailored to IH and AL; extra ideas for unexpected topics and role-play.
