As I read through it, I realized I have read this content many times before. Most of it was found through internet searches. Looking at the author's biography, I see he is the Director of Cheongdamin... Come to think of it, I read this on the Cheongdamin blog and cafe. Sigh. I bought this hoping to find information on Qigong therapy methods... As expected, it only introduces two types of Qigong therapy and doesn't cover the methods.
An Sang-won: Korean traditional medicine treatment
Postpartum care for twenty-one days. What exactly is it? Postpartum care is one of the traditions followed by the majority of people in Korea. However, it is not right to blindly adhere to traditional postpartum care methods or rely on folk remedies. Conversely, many mothers suffer from various ailments because they disregard postpartum care or postpartum illness as unscientific traditions of the past. To correct these misconceptions about postpartum care, the author has compiled Korean medical theories and clinical experiences into a book. It provides diverse information—including the necessity of postpartum care, appropriate care methods, the concept of postpartum illness, and treatment cases—to expectant mothers preparing for childbirth, mothers currently recovering after delivery, and patients suffering from postpartum illness. - Provided by the Publisher
