After reading this book, it is rather surprising that there are not drunk botanists who are making great wines in the world, as the author said in the introduction, because of the role that plants play in producing them. If you think about it, I know of a few very small drinks made from sweet potatoes, corn, grapes and rice. Fruits are good for making wine, and they come back from all kinds of fruits.
