Description

Man is so aware of his direct position as a subject of gravity that a high degree of perspective has been created that the pursuit of height is seen as a human need. And the reason that we have become obsessed with heights, including symbols of power, and too much sleep, economics and competition, has changed over time. The center of the historic skyscrapers was the Middle East, where the Mesopotamian civilization that built the ziggurats and the Egyptian civilization that made the pyramids. It was going back to North America, to Asia and the Middle East, to the late 19th century, to about 5,000 years later. Was it high enough to have changed with history? If the power, religion and military functions were at the center of modern times, then after modern times the capitals built the skyscrapers and various features were installed, including commerce, housing, communications and prospects. This book tells us what the skyscrapers, which are built with human desires, why they're so obsessed with heights, and what the height of the architecture represents in the city's landscape. From ancient times to modern times, we look at the history of skyscrapers and think about the meaning of them at seven points. The book will re-ask the role and intentions of skyscrapers and will further create a moment of thought in the city as well as in the past of the skyscrapers.
