I don't have my N4 result yet, but I think I passed thanks to this book, haha. I compared it with all the other books before buying it, and for N4 I think one past-question workbook is better than a book overloaded with concepts. I studied for N4 using only this one. If you know basic grammar, I think you can pass studying just with this book! The explanations are detailed, so I'm very satisfied. I passed after studying with this one book! 🤍
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) began in 1984 for international students whose native language is not Japanese, and it is held twice a year. It is an official test administered by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) and the Japan Foundation. Koreans, Taiwanese, and Chinese may take it for admission to Japanese private or national universities. The test has levels N1 through N5, with N1 the most difficult. N4 is the second-easiest level after N5 and tests language
I bought it to get a feel for the questions by solving them. Three tests seems like just the right amount. Best of all, the explanations are very thorough. They explain why an answer is right or wrong in such detail that I learn just by reading the explanations. I will definitely pass the July exam!
The exam is two months away, and I had barely studied, so I bought this thinking I should at least do some practice tests. Its biggest advantage is that it includes three full tests, and it's good for setting a timer and practicing as if it were the real exam. It is similar to the actual test. The many bonus materials are also helpful. The past-test vocabulary and sentence patterns are organized, making preparation easier!
