Ahn In-hee: Norse Mythology Set
The three-volume *Norse Mythology Set* by humanities scholar Ahn In-hee, a prominent translator of German-language works who has garnered attention for her consistent research in the humanities and arts, guides us into the mysterious, intriguing, unfamiliar, yet familiar world of Norse mythology—a key to understanding Western civilization. The collection combines Volume 1, themed around "Treasure" and "Adventure"; Volume 2, themed around "Prophecy" and "Apocalypse"; and the most recently released Volume 3, themed around "Heroes." Readers can listen to the stories of Norse gods that are sometimes delightful and sometimes magnificent. It corrects the intellectual bias often associated with Greek and Roman mythology, leading readers to discover the source of 21st-century imagination. Beautiful illustrations and vivid photographs blend seamlessly to capture our interest and curiosity.
